FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal tests. In method the second sample is represented by sample identical to the first sample, these samples at both sides are brought in thermal contact with volume source of heat. Outer surfaces of investigated samples are brought in thermal contact with reference samples, outer surfaces of reference samples are brought in thermal contact with flat heaters. Heat flows are measured through the first and second investigated samples, Fourier number is calculated, as well as dimensionless average integral temperature of volume source of heat, using experimental data, tangent of inclination angle is calculated in rectilinear section of curve of dependence between dimensionless average integral temperature of volume heat source and Fourier number. Data registered in process of experiment is used to calculate sought for volume heat capacity and heat conductivity.
EFFECT: reduction of experiment duration and increased accuracy of thermal characteristics detection.
