SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft control systems. The method involves automatic and repeated determination of the divergence path, determination of the terrain profile, determination of the critical angle, display of a characteristic mark on the viewing screen for the pilot, where the said mark displays the critical angle and is related to the angular scale. The system has a first apparatus for determining the deviation path, a second apparatus for determining terrain profile, a third apparatus for determining critical angle, apparatus for displaying the characteristic mark on the viewing screen. In the first version the aircraft contains the above described system. In the second version the aircraft contains the above described system which realises a method which involves automatic and repeated determination of the divergence path, determination of the terrain profile, determination of the critical angle, display of a characteristic mark on the viewing screen for the pilot, where the said mark displays the critical angle and is related to the angular scale.
