FIELD: navigation; aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aviation instruments, and in particular to flight-navigation instruments of an aircraft capable of autorotation, such as a helicopter, a gyroplane, a quadcopter or a multicopter. Method of indicating recommendations to pilot and parameters of state of aircraft capable of autorotation, during landing in autorotation mode includes: displaying current flight altitude, displaying "blasting" height during autorotation. When landing in the autorotation mode, the display of the autorotation parameters displays the colour coded degree of deviation of the horizontal and vertical speed of the helicopter from the recommended values for safe landing in the autorotation mode, and are also displayed in digital and graphical form recommendations on leading aircraft to safe landing path and recommended course to available site for safest landing in given conditions. A display device which realizes said method is also disclosed.
