SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a recording medium, a device and a method of decoding data. In the method, encrypted data associated with the recording medium are loaded into local memory for playback. Loaded data and data recorded on the recording medium are then decoded using a first type key in a key file stored in the recording medium. A first type key is used to decode data on the recording medium and a second type key is used to decode loaded data. The first type key is stored on the recording medium and the second type key is stored on the recording medium or in local memory.
EFFECT: prevention of unauthorised copying and distribution of additional content associated with the recording medium.
