FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making curved glass used as reflectors for aerodrome approach lights. The sheet glass sag-bending mould has two shaping surfaces with given curvature and parts with deviation from the given curvature in two diametrically lying sections of the mould. The shaping surfaces, obtained on both sides of the plane passing through the axial line of the mould, are turned about this plane with formation of a turning angle of 2-4° between the shaping surfaces. The vertex of the turning angle lies on the axial line of the mould at its tangent point to the shaping surfaces.
EFFECT: obtaining reflectors for aerodrome approach lights with scattering angle on the horizontal greater than 15°.
