FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a moulding device for glass hemispheres. Glass hemispheres moulding device comprises a heating chamber, a counterweight with a composite made up of a central part connected to the rod and an edge part with its position retainers, mechanism for raising and lowering the hearth by means of a rod connected to it, a vacuum system connected to the heating chamber, a heat shield mounted on the edge part of the composite hearth, made in the form of a truncated cone with a cap of a toroidal shape located on the upper part of the truncated cone, a plate limiting movement central part of hearth. On the central part of the hearth there is a moulding form with a glass workpiece located on it. Under the base of moulding form there installed is collector for forced cooling by compressed air of form base and glass workpiece, which is in form, made in the form of hollow torus from corrosion-resistant steel with holes along diameter of its inner surface.

EFFECT: faster process of moulding and power consumption.
