FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of a mixture for preparing brick mortar, specifically heat resistant brick mortar designed for binding elements of thermal and furnace units with operating temperature of up to 1100°C. The heat resistant brick mortar, which contains Cambrian clay and granulated blast-furnace slag, also contains silicate blocks, crushed glass, pottery fragments, granite screenings, dolomite, water and sodium dihydrophosphate. The said solid components are crushed to 0.08 sieve residue not greater than 1%, with the following ratio components in wt %: silicate blocks 1.5-2.0, granulated blast-furnace slag 38.0-42.0, Cambrian clay 22.7-26.0, crushed glass 1.7-1.9, pottery fragments 1.8-2.0, granite screenings 4.8-5.0, dolomite 4.9-5.1, sodium dihydrophosphate 0.08-1.0, water - the rest.
EFFECT: increased strength after burning and improved fire resistance.
