FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method for pulling complex gel-formed yarn consists in forming source complex gel-formed yarn out of polyethylene with specified viscosity in deca-hydro-naphthalene at 135°C from approximately 5 dcl/g to 35 dcl/g with less, than approximately two throwing groups per thousand atoms of carbon and less, than approximately 2 wt % of other components. Further source yarn is run at velocity V1 m/min through a hot chamber with forced convection; notably, one or more zones with temperature from 130° C to 160°C are located on the path of yarn. Then source yarn is continuously run through the hot chamber and outside it with velocity V2 m/min at output whereat the following equations 1-4 are followed: 0.25 ≤ L/V1 ≤ 20, min equation 1; 3 ≤ V2/V1 ≤ 20 equation 2; 1.7 ≤ (V2-V1)/L ≤ 60, min-1 equation 3; 0.20 ≤ 2L/(V1+V2) ≤ 10, min equation 4.
EFFECT: facilitating production of yarn with high order of molecular micro-structures and items out of yarn with exceptional capability to protection from damage effect of gun.
