FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: device for cable protection in well includes housing with a longitudinal slot to arrange a cable. Housing has a groove to be installed on pipe sleeve and is equipped at least in its upper part with a clip the one side of which is attached by means of a hinge to housing. Housing has a recess to arrange the other side of the clip in the assembled position of the device on pipe column; at that, recess is made so that at least one projection is formed on the housing. Device includes a wedge; at that, clip and housing have at least one stop to interact with the wedge surface.
EFFECT: increasing service life of the device, improving its operating reliability and simplifying erection and removal on pipe column.
