FIELD: oil production, particularly safety means for cables, which supply power to submersible electrical motor used to activate centrifugal oil production pumps.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises body with longitudinal groove for cable receiving, upper and lower binding clips connected to the body from the first side thereof by slots formed in the clips and extensions connected to the body. Clips are pivotally connected to cam eccentrics from another side. Eccentrics define boxes in cross-sections and are hinged to body. Eccentric cams are brought into contact with production string pipes. The body is provided with upper and lower extensions having outer surfaces cooperating with inner surfaces of eccentric boxes and inner extension surfaces contacting stop rods. Stops are -shaped, arranged in eccentric boxes and formed of spring wire. Long stop rods pass through longitudinal grooves made in sides of eccentric boxes and are inclined from cams. Long rod ends are bent and define arms, short stop rods are inserted in orifices made in sides of eccentric boxes. Short rod ends are bent from outer surfaces of box sides. Blind grooves adjoin groove surfaces at box side edges from stop arm sides. The blind grooves are made in sides and are inclined from eccentric cams with respect to box side edges. Grooves have widths exceeding diameter of wire used for stop production.

EFFECT: increased reliability of device body pressing against production string during regulated service life thereof.
