FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to charge fuel assemblies in nuclear reactors of VVER type, in particular on floating NPP. Device for charging of fuel assemblies into reactor core is installed on upper flange of reactor instead of its removed cover only for the time of charging. Device represents support with rotary sleeve having bottom installed inside it and joined in upper part with large rotary board that rests on upper flange of support with the possibility of rotation around axis. Small rotary board is installed in bottom of rotary sleeve with eccentricity. In bottom there are holes arranged, which serve for charging of reactor core central part and installation of control means that provide for permanent monitoring over subcritical mass of fuel as fuel assemblies are charged into reactor. In small rotary board there is at least one hole that serves for charging of fuel assemblies of reactor core peripheral part. To facilitate installation of fuel assemblies into their standard places of reactor core, device is equipped with charging tube.
EFFECT: invention provides for tight installation of fuel assemblies into reactor core with continuous control over subcritical mass of fuel in reactor core.
