FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary shift deformation of insulating material on the basis of filled siloxane compounds at a certain speed of shift and time of deformation. Installation of insulator rod inside split press mould. Pressurised supply of dosed amount of insulating material and its hardening on rod in two stages. At the same time regenerate is previously added to insulating material in the form of highly viscous pasty mass of the same material, which is added in amount of 5-20 wt parts per 100 wt parts of insulating material, and time of preliminary shift deformation is reduced proportionally to amount of introduced regenerate.
EFFECT: possibility to produce polymer insulators with lower prime cost.
