FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to method of grading solid domestic wastes (SDW) and unit to this end. Proposed method comprises collecting domestic wastes, their transportation, grading, grading and removing remaining wastes by transfer conveyor. SDW grading is carried out on circular conveyor. Every portion of SDW is subjected to several selection circles. Every work station is assigned preset wastes fractions. The latter are discharged through work station holes into movable hoppers. Grading completed, every work station signals about selection completion. Signals received, dropping device is downed. SDW residues from the entire surface of circular transfer conveyor are fed to discharge band conveyor. In 7 to 10 seconds, new portion of SDW is loaded. In preset designed time interval, dropping device is upped to repeat said cycle.
EFFECT: reduced investments and payback period.
