FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardware and may be used to arrest covering element in locking device. Locking device comprises body, section of rope and arresting element. Body is arranged in the form of cylinder or polyhedron with through channel and support dead hole. Arresting element is arranged as support and sharpened part with top. Top of sharpened part is arranged with single-sided skew teeth with the possibility of partial breaking or deformation. In process of locking free end of rope is pulled through locking unit and through channel, and after loop of minimum size has been formed, arresting element is displaced by application of force to break sharpened part. Force is applied through application of static load to end of arresting element and support in the form of circular bore arranged in the body.

EFFECT: increases reliability of rope section fixation, simplified locking technology.
