FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly locking devices for railroad, motor and other transport to protect doors, containers and tank hatches, as well as hopper car wheels and so on against tamper.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises body with orifice and rope end fastened in the orifice. Device also has through channel for free rope end passage and threaded orifice made in the body and extending at an angle to the channel. The threaded orifice is adapted to receive twist member including removable part and fixing head with sharpened end surface. The fixing head is composite and provided with longitudinal blind hole to receive insert. Insert is made of material having hardness exceeding that of fixing head material. The insert comprises sharpened ends and has longitudinal knurling on side surface thereof. The insert is pressed into the blind hole of the head. Removable part of twist member may be formed as kink. The insert has several steps. Insert end from removable handle side has smaller diameter.
EFFECT: increased locking ability due to improved rope clamping in the body, prevention of fixing head drilling out or damage thereof by thump.
