SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of furfural and a system for recycling furfural-containing waste water. The method and system for recycling furfural-containing waste water involve movement of furfural-containing waste water in an evaporation system with subsequent heating to obtain vapour of waste water, returning the vapour of waste water into a hydrolysis reactor for recirculation of furfural-containing waste water, recycling furfural-containing residue formed after evaporation of the waste water. The invention also relates to a method of producing furfural which uses the said method and system for recycling furfural-containing waste water.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce production costs and cost of equipment, ensure zero discharge of furfural-containing waste water with prevention of repeated contamination, recycle combustible substances.
