FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device includes protection plug installed on nozzle section and sealing plug inside the nozzle. Rocket engine nozzle is made from erosion-resistant pressmaterial and includes protection plug installed on the nozzle section, made in the form of cylindrical shell with thinning and fixed on external side of the nozzle. Protection plug is fixed on external side of the nozzle by means of glue joint. Between end surface of protection plug and end surface of nozzle section there installed is gasket from anti-adhesive material, mainly plastic fluor. Protection plug is made from material having lower strength properties in comparison to those of nozzle material, mainly foam plastic, and has a through hole. Inside the nozzle there installed is a sealing plug. Thickness of protection plug is determined by the dependence specified in the description of this invention.
EFFECT: improving reliability of assembly activation when the engine is in operating mode, and improving traction-pulse characteristics.
