FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry and can be used in development of plugs nozzles of small-size rocket engines, where it is necessary to realise a high level of operation pressure of the plug. Rocket engine nozzle plug is composed of female outlet nozzle of a hollow cylinder with blind bottom, fixed on the outer surface of the nozzle shear pins. On the inner wall of hollow cylinder is an annular groove and on its end surface there are radial slots, providing the possibility of entering previously installed on the nozzle of shear pins in annular groove. Hollow cylinder is fixed on the nozzle shifted relative to cutouts of position of shear pins with the help of installed in axial plane of thrust and lock screws. On inner surface of hollow cylinder on the side of the dead bottom there is a ring seal.
EFFECT: invention provides high design pressure of actuation.
