FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for making signalling explosion-proof pointer manometres which are designed for measuring excess and vacuum gauge pressure of non-aggressive liquid and gaseous non-crystallisable media with direct effect signalling devices for use in various industries. The manometre has a cylindrical housing, a Bourdon spring whose free end is connected to a transmission pinion-sector mechanism through a pull rod, a pointer installed on the axle of the pinion and a protective transparent organic glass which is disc shaped and lies over the face with a scale and a pointer. Two sliding contacts of the electro-contact unit of the device move together with the pointer through guides attached to the axle. Two reciprocal contacts are fitted on pointers of the electro-contact unit which is placed over the pinion-sector mechanism. The manometre also has two spark-proof circuits, two airtight inlets for independent galvanically isolated contacts which are installed such that, when pressure corresponding to scale marks on which the pointers of the electro-contact unit are installed is attained, contact pairs 1-2 and 3-4 close (open). Installation of pointers of the electro-contact unit on the required scale marks is done using a lead through a leveling screw attached to the centre of the protective glass on the face of the device, where thickness of the protective glass is increased to 6 mm. Also between the protective transparent organic glass and the housing of the device there is a special ring for removing electrostatic electricity. The special ring is attached to the protective glass using a screw which is inserted into the opening on the protective glass. On the screw there is flexible contact attached through a washer, where the flexible contact is pressed to the electro-contact unit on the rear wall of which there is an earthing screw.

EFFECT: design of a device modification with "spark-proof circuit" type of explosion protection.
