FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: manometre has a cylindrical housing inside of which there is a holder base, a Bourdon spring linked to pinion-sector mechanism which converts movement of the free end of the Bourdon spring into circular motion of the pointer, and a protective transparent glass which is disc shaped and placed over a dial plate with a scale and a pointer on which there are shutters. The shutters are made from opaque material in form of thin-walled hollow cylinders of different diametres having a common base which is made from a thin-walled circular plate and which lie perpendicularly. Diametres of the shutters lie along the medial line O-O₁ of the pointer and pressure limiting values are over the shutters on pressure limiting value pointers such that the corresponding shutter is in the sensitive zone of its sensor, where the pressure limiting value pointers are mounted on an axle resting on the cantilever span of an L-shaped arm in line with the pinion axis. Also the base of the arm is fixed using two screws on the font of the dial plate outside the operation zone of the scale.

EFFECT: wider range of operation of sensors mounted on pressure limiting value pointers owing to simplification of the design of optoelectronic or induction type sensor control elements by using two shutters with a new design having a common base which is mounted on the pointer with the centre on the pinion axis.
