FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: manometric depth gauge has a cylindrical housing, a base, a tubular Bourdon spring with a fixed tip with a hard projection, having a hole for attaching a first hinge. At the tail of the tubular sector there is also a hole for attaching a second hinge for joining a rod by its ends using the first and second hinges. The depth gauge also has a zero adjuster which is mounted onto the housing of the device and has a cylindrical tension spring which is freely tied using hooks. One hook is freely inserted into the hole of the larger cantilever span of an arm, and the other into the hole of a lug which is rigidly attached to the free end of the tubular Bourdon spring to the tip with the flat projection. The smaller cantilever of the arm has a hole at the end for mounting a third hinge and joining the smaller cantilever of the arm with the cylindrical tip, which is fitted into the fitment hole of the top part of an adjustment screw. The adjustment screw is fitted into the hole vertically and in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the device.
EFFECT: simple design of manometric depth gauges by improving the design of the zero adjustment unit.
