FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: application: for weld joint tracking. Substance: consists that monitored pipe weld joint tracker contains hangers of electromagnetic-acoustical transformers and inductive sensors on ultrasonic check frame, as well as hanger drives. Hanger of inductive sensors is mounted on pneumatic actuator rod fixed on ultrasonic check frame on centre of vertical axis of monitored pipe symmetrically with hangers of electromagnetic-acoustical transformers. Hanger of inductive sensors is "П"-shaped fork pivotally connected to the frame pivotally connected to hanger platform containing at least two inductive sensors symmetric with horizontal axis of controlled pipe and weld joint over fixed distance from surface of controlled pipe. And in frame corners there are spherical bearing supports mounted. Inductive sensors are mounted relative to traced weld joint with overlapping providing 2d>dw, where d is diameter of inductive sensor, dw is maximum width of weld joint. Inductive sensors are arranged in layout plan as distanced d/2 symmetrically with axes of controlled weld joint and distanced a≥d along its axis.

EFFECT: provided reliable tracking of pipe weld joint in ultrasonic check.
