FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: instantaneous value of consumed current is registered digitally on one of supply phases of induction motor with phase rotor. In established mode of induction motor functioning, simultaneously instantaneous values of consumed current on one of supply phases and instantaneous values of current on one of rotor phases are digitally registered. Discrete Fourier transform is carried out, generating amplitude-frequency characteristics of signals. Main components are extracted with highest amplitude of consumed current with frequency fc and rotor current with frequency Fr, using which, rotor slip is identified, rotor slip is identified using formula .
EFFECT: expanded arsenal of facilities having similar purpose.
