FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to a respiratory apparatus for a flight crewman, comprising at least one respiratory mask supplied with a regulator and an inflatable pneumatic holder for fast putting on of said mask. The regulator is connected to a breathing gas source through a first feed line. The respiratory apparatus contains a first buffer chamber with its output connected to the pneumatic holder to be inflated with compressed gas, and compressors to supply compressed gas to the first buffer chamber. The pneumatic holder is connected to the first buffer chamber through the second feed line different from the first one. The invention also concerns a method for filling the first buffer chamber.
EFFECT: provided the respiratory mix supply and multiple and fast putting on of the mask during flight.
