FIELD: respiratory protection equipment, particularly cleaning of gas medium in pressurized object.
SUBSTANCE: method involves replenishing breathable oxygen in pressurized object; passing inhalant gaseous medium from pressurized object through buffer space between absorber and face part of breathing mask in amount of 0.2-0.6 of inhalation volume taken on physiological grounds; absorbing carbon dioxide from inhalant gaseous flow with absorber in absorbing breathing mask cartridge and supplying cleaned gaseous medium to pressurized object. Breaching mask comprises face part and absorbing cartridge directly connected with each other or fastened one to another through hose. Exhalation valve is installed at absorbing cartridge outlet communicating with pressurized object. Inhalation valve is linked to buffer space between absorber and face part of breathing mask. Free space is arranged in absorbing cartridge over absorber level from the side of face part or hose connection. Free space volume is 100-300 cm3.
EFFECT: increased degree of gaseous medium cleaning, improved simplicity and structural reliability.
