FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtering and may be used to clean industrial and household waters from suspended particles, organic substances, ions of heavy metals. Method is proposed for filtration of liquids, including self-cleaning filter for its realisation, which comprises body, nozzle of cleaned liquid supply, nozzle of cleaned liquid discharge, nozzle for discharge of foreign inclusions extracted from liquid out of body, airlift pump and filtering medium. Body of filter is equipped with inlet and outlet vertical lattice partitions that divide the body into three zones: zone of cleaned liquid supply, zone of liquid cleaning and zone of cleaned liquid collection.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve filter efficiency, to improve quality of foreign inclusions separation from filtering medium, to reduce volume of filtering medium filling, to improve quality of liquid cleaning.
