FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration and can be used for purification of industrial and domestic waters. Proposed filtration method comprises feeding purified water perpendicular to filtration layer displacing downward for regeneration. Filtration medium is fed directly in the casing on purified fluid feed side. Filter casing is furnished with two vertical grid baffles dividing it into three zones, i.e. purified fluid feed zone, fluid purification zone and purified accumulation zone. Filtration medium load branch pipe seats at purified fluid feed zone top part. Filtration medium unload branch pipe is arranged at fluid purification zone bottom part. Filter incorporates air-lift pump and filtration medium flushing device with gate valve.
EFFECT: higher filter efficiency, lower filtration medium load.
