FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in realisation of process of styrene (co)polymerisation in mass or in solution. Reactor represents apparatus with side wall 1 in the form of rotation cylinder relative to vertical axis A, lower 2 and upper 3 bottoms joined to side wall 1. Mechanical device for mixing includes central rotary shaft 4 with vertical axis that coincides with axis A and joined to system of drive including engine 5 for rotation of central shaft, mixing element 1 attached to central shaft 4 and guide partition 14 attached to apparatus. Guide partition 14 has column-like shape with vertical axis A.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to develop device for mixing, which in process of styrene polymerisation in aqueous suspension will provide for preservation of liquid mix stability for polymerisation.
