FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composite hydrogel material particles. Technical result is achieved by installation for production of particles of composite hydrogel material, which comprises reactor with low-speed mixing device and heating jacket, unit for coarse grinding of briquetted hydrogel, unit of dispersion on special screen and unit of suspension separation into small fractions. Plant additionally contains unit of high-speed top-wheel grinding in the form of high-speed toothed disc cutter or knife cross-shaped mill with knives. Outside the reactor there are installed: a device for lowering and lifting of cutters, a dispersing unit containing a pump for transfer of suspensions, a two-zone dispersant, made in the form of a cylindrical housing with a cylinder-conic piston in it having conical surfaces made with guide grooves and equipped with a distribution ring with partitions and a mesh filter. Listed devices are installed in series and connected by system of pipelines for withdrawal of suspensions with coarse particles to unit for dispersion and return of milled hydrogel to reactor for re-dispersion.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency and specific capacity of installation and possibility of performing gel formation, polymerisation and primary crushing in one apparatus with minimum operations.
