FIELD: polygraphic industry, decorative art.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to jewellery industry and method for formation of decorative surface on jewellery item. On surface of wax model surface of rumpled foil is repeated by means of wax filling into mould that follows shape of jewellery item or its part in plan, on bottom of which rumpled foil is laid. Finish treatment of finished jewellery item or its part surface is carried out by means of darkening by galvanic method from solution of rhodium, part of surface that repeats surface of rumpled foil.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify method for development of small-series pieces of jewellery with decorative surface.
