FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gas-and-oil producing industry and can be used for retention of a flat cable extension to pump sections and seal section of an upstream electric-centrifugal pump. A protectoliser comprises a body consisting of pivotally jointed cover with a groove for a flange flat of a pump platform and a gripper; besides, the protectoliser accommodates a demountable lock joint with a fastening bolted element, and a protective collar screwed to the cover with an adjustable radial clearance. The body overall dimensions are suitable to the minimum standard size of a pump unit, and side edges turned to a pump neck and seal section and the gripper are equipped with processing samples, while the cover sides have cylindrical samples with a diametre not exceeding that of the pump and platform neck and seal section of the minimum standard size. The cover and gripper sides located outside of the hinge flexible coupling and joint have a length between edges exceeding that at a hexagonal neck of the pump platform and seal section of the maximum standard size, and the cover and gripper sides arranged within the flexible coupling and joint have the length between edges less than that of the hexagonal necks of the pump platform and seal section of the minimum standard size. An opening of the lock joint in the cover or gripper is formed as a radial groove with an inserted bolt performing constrained rotation about its head.
