FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: extension cable attachment assembly with protectolizer comprises pump or hydraulic protector neck arranged between flange, on one side, and pump base casing taper surface or hydraulic protector, on the other side. Note here that above mentioned flange has through bolt or stud holes and protectolizer to attach extension cable to centrifugal pumps components. Note also that protectolizer incorporates two mating clamp-like elements. One of said elements has two mutually perpendicular slots on its surface, one being formed by two sidewalls and base of the rib and receiving cable. Another element serves to accommodate box-like flanged elements with holes receiving fastening bolts or studs. A ledge is arranged on base face located between pump sections attachment nuts to rule out casing turn. Note also the aforesaid clamp-like element has, on its one side, a taper surface in contact with appropriate taper surface of pump section or hydraulic protector. Diametrically opposite sides of clamp-like surfaces features holes to joint said clamp-like elements together with the help of bolts or screws in assembly of proposed attachment.

EFFECT: higher reliability, smaller sizes and simplified mounting.
