FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to spray and mix self-igniting fuel components in fluid-propellant rocket engines. Proposed device consists of head casing with oxidiser and fuel feed channels and mixing element with two jet nozzles, each directed towards its reflecting surface. In compliance with proposed invention, aforesaid reflecting surfaces are arranged on opposite sides from mixing element axis representing a dead hole. Minimum distance between axes of oxidiser and fuel nozzles makes 1.5 to 2.0 of the sum of their diametres. In compliance with preferable version of nozzle head, dead hole cross section is a square, while axes of nozzles are directed perpendicular to lateral sides of said hole.

EFFECT: increased completeness of combustion and higher specific impulse.
