FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gate valve consists of case with flow section, input and output channels, of seat and of gate component actuated with pressure pulse. The gate component is made in form of a calibrated membrane. The seat is of a cylinder shape. Not less, than one output channel is directly communicated with the output channel and over-membrane space. The output channels are installed between the membrane and the seat. Distance between the seat and membrane and its thickness are chosen at the following ratio: h≤(20÷30) t, where h is distance between the calibrated membrane and the seat, t is thickness of the calibrated membrane.
EFFECT: raised performance of valve, increased operational properties, maintaining stability of valve characteristics under standby mode of actuation, and increased functionality under overloads and vibration.
