SOLENOID-OPERATED VALVE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of fittings; solenoid-operated diaphragm-type valves for automatic systems of power plants; piping systems for control of liquid or gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: solenoid-operated valve has body with seat, cover, diaphragm fitted between cover and body, shut-off member consisting of upper disk and lower soft gasket and servo drive. Valve is also provided with permanent magnet, magnetic member, rod with flat for placing the permanent magnet and control member. Rod with flat and permanent magnet is mounted for motion along axis of symmetry of seat and relative interaction between rod and permanent magnet and shut-off member. Position of control member is so selected that air gap is ensured between permanent magnet or flat on which it is located on one side and magnetic member on other side in mounting the shut-off member on valve seat. Member of valve made from magnetic material is used as magnetic member. EFFECT: possibility of creating conditions for complete opening of valve within low working pressure range; reduction of hydrodynamic resistance. 2 cl, 2 dwg
