FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with ultimate radiated power the transmitting station determines synthesised antenna directivity diagram on the basis of control vectors used for spatial processing, and estimates the grid amplification factor on the basis of the synthesised antenna directivity diagram. Use of various modes of spatial processing (for example proper control and spatial expansion) provides various synthesised antenna directivity diagrams. Grid amplification factor can be assessed on the basis of spatial processing mode used for data transmission, and applied parametres (for example proper values) for that mode. Also there can be assessed the element amplification factor for each antenna used for data transfer. Then transmitting station restricts the transmission power for data transmission on the basis of amplification factor of the grid, amplification factor of the element and ultimate radiated power, which can be the limit of effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP), which is determined with the control member.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of controlling radiated power for multi-antenna transmission.
