SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peripheral devices for chess playing with connection to computer and may be used to arrange electronic games of chess-checkers type with computer. Peripheral device for playing chess with connection to computer has chess board, including frame with chess cells on game surface, on the frame there is an output part of USB-slot fixed, being connected to USB-cable, in frame under each cell of game surface there is an according sensor installed for registration of chess piece placement onto chess cell, which is connected via according converter of signal with output part of USB-slot, in frame there are contacts arranged for source of DC voltage, each converter of signal represents clock oscillator.

EFFECT: expansion of device functionality due to fast modification and complication of game situations, as it happens in process of game with two players, which improves entertainment of games played with this device.
