FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to control of planetary-type mill. Method to control operation of planetary-type mill, comprising body, consists in the fact that in body on shaft a carrier is installed in the form of faceplate, rotary milling drums with detachable covers, holders of milling drums with facilities of their clamp arranged at carrier periphery are connected to rotation drive. Holders of milling drums are arranged in the form of races, where bearings and shafts are installed, being fixed on milling drums, and rotation drive of milling drums is installed additionally on the body. Values of angular speeds ω1 and ω2 must be selected with account of the following inequality: 0.05[(2ω1 2(D2/2+D1/D1)]0.5≤(D2/D1)(ω1-ω2)≤0.05[(2ω1 2(D2/2+D1/D1)]0.5, where: ωω1 - angular speed of carrier rotation; ω2 - angular speed of milling drum rotation; D1 - diametre of circumference along centres of milling drum shafts; D2 - diametre of milling drum.
EFFECT: method is proposed to control operation of planetary-type mill.
