FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: machine tool comprises bed, appliance to mount and clamp workpiece, boring bar running in sleeve bearings, back rests, longitudinal feed drive, boring bar drive representing a pneumatic jet turbine fixed on boring bar and turbine gas distribution mechanism. Machine incorporates boring bar radial displacement mechanism consisting of master pin arranged on rear cover brackets axles in back rests guide holes and spring-loaded retainer arranged in intermediate and inner sleeves to fit one into another that can displace through amount of eccentricity via periodic turning of intermediate sleeve. Note here that the joint of cylindrical surfaces of intermediate sleeve and shell on sleeve inner surface and intermediate sleeve outer surface has locking semi-holes that intermittently make common hole interacting with spring-loaded retainer that fix intermediate sleeve with respect to shell. Turning of intermediate sleeve and its radial displacement of amount of regular misalignment are caused by master pin interacting with profiling slots of back rests mating bored holes with regular misalignment that cause this effect in axial displacement of the sleeve in appropriate back rest. Note here that said slots are arranged so that when profile projection of profiling slot end of every previous back rest on the end face of the next back rest complies with the profile projection of profiling slot end of every next back rest.
