FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in heat exchange hardware, for example in automotive radiators and air conditioners, refrigerators etc. Ribbing is produced on workpiece by cutting surface layer material off to produce lugs. Said lugs are twisted about their axis running at an angle to workpiece surface. Twisting of lugs is made through α=(10°…n360°), where n is the number of coils (n=0…10) with lug axes arranged at β=(10°…90°) to workpiece surface.
EFFECT: higher stability of heat exchange at variation of ribs blowing direction.
