FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive safety devices. Proposed air bag comprises tightening branch pipe arranged on air bag and having cylindrical shape and open extreme opposite sections, and tightening cord. One extreme section is jointed to air bag surface. Tightening cord defines height between opposite extreme sections. Tightening cord is jointed to tightening branch pipe and runs along larger perimetre of tightening branch pipe. Tightening cord is connected with air bag surface so that, when air bag cushion opens and there are obstacles, said tightening cord does not extend completely or shut off tightening branch pipe. When air bag opens and if there is no obstacle, tightening cord extends and at least partially shuts off tightening branch pipe. Height of said branch pipe is sufficient to allow at least partial shut-off. Tightening branch pipe is pulled inside air bag in tightening aforesaid cord.
EFFECT: higher safety.
