FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism of motion transmission from pistons to output shaft of engine includes opposite arranged pistons connected to stocks and lugs, and piston-rods. Piston heads of piston-rods are hinged to eye lugs of pistons. Piston-rod heads are hinged to bell cranks installed on synchronising gears. At that, each synchronising gear is equipped with separate output shaft and connected to cams of gas-distributing mechanism.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of opposed engine, and excluding lateral loads on walls of engine cylinder.
