FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in ICE, piston compressors and the like which incorporate con rod gear. ICE with proposed con rod gear comprises at least one cylinder (1), cylinder block, cylinder head block (3), crankcase (2), crankcase oil pan (4), flywheel casings at least one piston (5), two piston pins (6), two con rods (7), two crankshafts (8), and two flywheels (9). The latter interact via toothed gear. Piston pins (6) are fitted in piston bosses (5). Con rods are articulated with piston pins and crankshaft rod journals, observing the principle "right with left and left with left" or "right with left and left with right". Rods of con rods (7) are bent to cylinder axis and represent a crescent curve and feature swinging plane sides directed toward each other. Rods of con rods (7) are shifted in opposite directions from plane of symmetry passing from the center of upper and lower con rod heads, perpendicular to their axes, by amount equal to half the rod thickness. Rods of con rods (7) can be made with upper head face inner surface aligned with planes of the rods. Note here that said rods are displaced from the plane of symmetry passing through the con rod lower heads center perpendicular to its axis by the amount equal half the rod thickness. Con rod drive kinematic parametres are optimised and made λ=0.26…0.27, k=1.40…1.50, k2=0.35…0.40, k3=0.28…0.32, where: λ=R/L, k=e/R, k2=e/L, k3=e/(R+L). L is the distance between centers of con rod heads, R is crank radius, and e is magnitude describing amount of axial displacement.
EFFECT: reduced friction forces, improved con rod gear balance and fuel combustion conditions.
