FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: power consumption, voltage and current are measured in open-circuit conditions with nominal voltage or close to nominal voltage. The power factor and inductive resistance of the stator are calculated from the measured values. The motor is then disconnected from the power supply. The voltage jump is recorded, decay curve of the stator voltage is plotted and resistance of the stator is measured. Scattering reactance of the stator is calculated from the voltage jump, current measured before disconnection, power factor and resistance. Time constants of the rotor with the stator closed and the stator conditionally connected to infinitely large power are respectively determined from the decay curve. Scattering coefficients of the stator and the rotor, reactance caused by mutual inductance, scattering reactance of the rotor normalised to the stator and active resistance of the rotor normalised to the stator are calculated using the obtained values. Operating characteristics are calculated using the obtained parametres using T- or L-equivalent circuits with one loop on the rotor.
EFFECT: determination of a large number of parametres.
