FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: during start and braking with electric motor rundown there simultaneously performed is measurement of instantaneous values of currents and voltages on two phases of stator and rotation frequency of electric motor shaft, a stator current vector modulus is determined, voltages are converted from natural coordinate system to a rectangular stationary coordinate system. Obtained values of stator current vector modulus, voltages in the rectangular stationary coordinate system, rotation frequency of the electric motor shaft are stored and used for determination of active resistance and equivalent inductance of the stator winding, which are corrected to stator of active resistance and equivalent inductance of the rotor winding, and inductance determined with magnetic flow in an air gap of the electric motor by global optimisation of the function. Then, total moment of inertia corrected to the electric motor shaft and moment of load resistance is determined by global optimisation of the function.

EFFECT: simplifying the method.
