FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: autostereoscopic system includes an imaging surface with an image prepared for separation, which consists of a sequence of m views, each of which alternates with a frequency not less than a physiologically determined sensitivity of the human eye, and a bi-raster screen located in front of the imaging surface, consisting of two rasters located on different sides relative to a common focal plane, which diffuses a luminous flux. Each raster consists of lens elements located on the surface without any gaps with the formation of coaxial pairs. Each pair is equipped with m eclipse shutters, each of which opens synchronously with a sequence of angles. The bi-raster screen is located in front of the imaging surface at a distance at which the optical projection of the step portion of the raster hm=h/m from the common focal plane of the bi-raster to the imaging surface is equal to the raster step h.
EFFECT: improving the stereo image quality.
