FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to displaying information and relates to a device for reproducing three-dimensional images. Volumetric display includes an optical system consisting of a projector made in the form of a straight prism, in base of which there is a regular polygon with possibility of output of raster images on the surface of one of its bases, mirror polyhedron, screen element, performing the role of diaphragm, a system of lenses, made in the form of a set of lenses located along the faces of a straight polyhedral prism, in the base of which there is a regular polygon, whose centre coincides with the axis of the display, wherein each of the bitmap images corresponds to the kit own lens with the possibility of transmitting said image to the center of the screen element made from opaque material, with the possibility of limiting the observed width of these raster images, projection optics, which is additionally equipped with a system of forming lenses.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling reproduction of full-colour three-dimensional images, including with round-robin view in real time without using ultra-high speed data processing and high-speed projection means, as well as without using individual means of stereo monitoring.
