FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: fibre includes first polymer and composite. Composite forms layer comprising at least a part of fibre surface. Composite is comprised of polymer and filler with mean particle size exceeding thickness of layer formed of composite. Fibres can be of round, elliptic, three-foil, triangular, dumbbell, flat or hollow shape and symmetric or asymmetric shell/core or side-by-side configuration. Method of fibre obtainment involves composite formation by mixing first polymer and filler and joint extrusion of second polymer and composite in thermal binding conditions, with second polymer forming core and composite forming a layer at fibre surface.
EFFECT: improved fibre properties.
