SUBSTANCE: method provides for the following: application of fibrous material layer onto a layer of non-woven fibrous web, hydraulic crowding of specified layers to form composite material, drying of composite material, heating of composite material and embossing composite material in embossing gap formed by a pair of coupled embossing rolls.

EFFECT: development of absorbing material, which will preserve its embossed structure in process of use, even after wetting.
