FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: road curb is made in the form of polyhedral concrete stone, on side faces of which there are open cavities arranged for connection to adjacent curbs. At the same time each specified open cavity has shape of truncated cone, smaller base of which lies in plane of end face. Method for fabrication of road curb includes pouring concrete into mould and extracting hardened concrete stone from mould. At the same time mould is used with transverse partitions, distances between which are equal to length of curb, and on which on both sides there are embedded elements having shape of truncated cones, smaller bases of which adjoin partitions. After extraction of hardened concrete stone from mould, embedded elements are damaged and withdrawn from it.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability of curbs fabrication and their increased reliability.
